Refund Policy
At YouCertified, we are committed to providing high-quality remote educational courses. Due to the digital nature of our products and the immediate access granted upon purchase, our refund policy is designed to be strict and protect the integrity of our course content and business operations.
By purchasing a course from YouCertified, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
1. General No-Refund Policy
All sales of courses and digital content on YouCertified are final and non-refundable. Once a course is purchased, and access to the course materials is granted, YouCertified incurs costs and provides proprietary content immediately. Therefore, we generally do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for any reason, including:
Change of mind
Failure to complete the course
Lack of time to complete the course
Dissatisfaction with course content (unless a specific defect is proven, as outlined below)
Technical issues on the customer’s end (e.g., internet connectivity, device compatibility, software problems)
Course expiry (if applicable)
Course content not meeting personal expectations
Duplicate purchases (it is the customer’s responsibility to review their cart before purchase)
2. Extremely Limited Exceptions for Refund Consideration
YouCertified may, at its sole and absolute discretion, consider a refund only under the following extraordinary and documented circumstances:
Proven Technical Defect Preventing Access: If a severe technical defect within the YouCertified platform itself genuinely prevents the customer from accessing the purchased course content, and YouCertified’s technical support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe (as determined by YouCertified), a refund may be considered.
Conditions: The customer must report the specific, reproducible technical defect to YouCertified support within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase. The customer must fully cooperate with YouCertified’s support team in troubleshooting the issue. YouCertified reserves the right to verify the defect. Issues originating from the customer’s device, internet connection, or third-party software are not considered YouCertified’s technical defects.
Demonstrable Duplicate Purchase (Identical Course): If a customer inadvertently purchases the exact same course more than once within a short period, and can provide irrefutable proof of both purchases and that no access or progress was made on the duplicate purchase.
Conditions: The customer must notify YouCertified support within twenty-four (24) hours of the duplicate purchase. The refund, if approved, will only apply to the duplicate purchase.
3. Process for Refund Consideration (When Applicable)
To request consideration for a refund under the extremely limited exceptions outlined above, the customer must:
Send an email to refunds @ youcertified.com within the specified timeframe of 24 hours from the time of purchase.
The email must include:
Your full name and email address used for purchase.
The course name(s) and transaction ID(s).
A clear, detailed explanation of the exceptional circumstance qualifying for consideration (e.g., specific technical defect, precise details of the duplicate purchase).
Any relevant screenshots, error messages, or supporting documentation.
YouCertified will review the request and may require further information or troubleshooting steps. All decisions regarding refunds are made at the sole discretion of YouCertified and are final.
4. No Pro-Rata Refunds or Partial Refunds
YouCertified does not offer pro-rata refunds for partially completed courses, nor do we offer partial refunds if you are dissatisfied with specific components of a course.
5. Chargebacks
We urge customers to contact YouCertified support directly to discuss any concerns or refund considerations before initiating a chargeback with their credit card company or payment provider. Initiating a chargeback without prior communication with YouCertified may result in the suspension or termination of your YouCertified account and access to all purchased courses.
6. Policy Updates
YouCertified reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for updates.
